Will the ICE benchmark cocoa futures price close above $6,000 per tonne on the last trading day of the current quarter?
History builds as forecasts are placed.
West Africa — Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana and Nigeria — produces the majority of the world's cocoa, so the price is a bellwether for the region's export earnings. This market forecasts whether cocoa closes above $6,000/tonne at quarter end.
Resolves YES if the ICE front-month cocoa futures settlement (USD/tonne) on the last trading day of the current quarter is strictly above 6,000. The official ICE settlement is authoritative. Otherwise NO.
